Justin Timberlake called 'Selfie Kid' Ryan McKenna

Ryan McKenna will get a chance to snap a second selfie with Justin Timberlake.

The 13-year-old New England Patriots fan – known as “Selfie Kid” for the way he stared at his phone during Timberlake’s Super Bowl LII halftime show before finally getting a shot with the artist – appeared on Ellen and got another surprise: Timberlake phoned in.

He told an emotional McKenna he’ll be at TD Garden later this year and invited him to meet backstage. McKenna also got an invitation to a Patriots game next season, but meeting Timberlake might be even better.

Catch me on @theellenshow tomorrow!!! #selfiekid #ellendegeneres
